How would you like to build the AWS Cloud Computing business for the US Department of Defense (DoD)? As an Inside Account Manager for Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the exciting opportunity to be on a team that will shape and deliver a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon’s utility computing web services including Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon Amazon RDS, AI/ML, Amazon etc.

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:

- Develop a growing book of business as part of a sales team.
- Drive business and technical relationships and close business by helping to define, identify, and pursue key opportunities.
- Establish deep business and technical relationships through your knowledge of the customer’s mission and the environment.
- Have day-to-day interactions with customers and extended account team.
- Have both a sales and technical background that enables you to successfully manage a high volume of activity, as well as experience establishing credibility with decision makers.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing, while understanding and identifying opportunities for customers
- Manage time efficiently, meet personal goals, and work effectively with other members of the sales and marketing team.
- Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Limited travel
