This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly strategic and important part of AMD’s business, targeting the next generation of FPGA, System-On-Chip & Embedded x86 technologies and tools to meet the needs of our broad market of customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for AI Machine Learning system level analysis, deriving specifications, solution architecture and will own responsibility for delivery of algorithms and models into the wider system utilizing our latest technology. Key Responsibilities: Provide AI technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, with responsibility for projects from concept through to delivery. Work with Software and Hardware teams to define AI solutions for various applications. Leverage FPGA/Adaptive SoC/Embedded x86 technologies and silicon features to optimize AI solutions. Define and maintain system level verification of AI solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing and new products. Conduct research and stay updated with the latest advancements in AI. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs. Work with customers to analyze AI needs and feed into solutions. Preferred Experience: Strong knowledge of FPGA/Adaptive SoC/Embedded x86 technologies and experience of development in these areas. Proficiency in embedded firmware and software development. Experience with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV). Experience in deploying AI solutions into SoC environments. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and VHDL/Verilog. Familiarity with hardware-software co-design and optimization. Experience integrating with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux.
