We're seeking an Art Director to dramatically expand the stylistic capabilities of our ground breaking image and video generation models. You'll collaborate with creators and artists inside and outside Meta to develop training sets of high quality artwork that expand the range of what our models are capable of producing. You'll focus on key styles that will resonate for consumers and creators across our generative product experiences.
- Develop a unified artistic direction, vision, and high production standard in the creation of AI based experiences on various platforms
- Partner with leads on the aesthetic, creative, and technology direction of Art across a range of new product experiences
- Push the boundaries of how Art is represented and produced using new tools and processes
- Maintain and manage a high bar for aesthetic quality in generated media across various products
- Effectively influence leaders and key partners across Meta products to gain alignment and communicate with conviction
- Partner closely with product, design and engineering to identify opportunities for feature enhancements that would elevate the Art quality and user experience
- Collaborate with creative directors, designers, researchers, product managers, product marketers and engineers to serve a global audience
Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in a creative leadership role in technology, publishing, media or a related field.
- Portfolio showcasing expertise in curating and directing creative projects with a focus on aesthetic and visual storytelling.
- Effective collaboration and problem-solving skills with experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in communicating complex creative concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven understanding of aesthetic principles across mediums, with strengths in photography and video.
- Experience working with advanced generative media tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with generative models, data curation and annotation processes.
- Familiarity with product development and launch processes.
- Experience in music, video or other forms of media production.
- Familiarity model fine-tuning, LoRA development, ComfyUI ecosystem, machine learning or computer vision.

$149,000/year to $205,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
