About the Role 

As an Associate Creative Director / CGI for our Digital Twins and Unreal Engine projects, you lead the artistic vision for one of our key automotive clients and drive our CGI productions. You work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and visually compelling solutions that address our clients’ challenges. This role requires a unique blend of artistic expertise, production and technology knowledge, and emerging leadership skills to push the creative boundaries of our agency’s output. In practice, this means balancing hands-on creative execution with guiding the team toward outstanding results. You are both a creator and an artistic lead, navigating multiple responsibilities with confidence and impact. You bring a forward-thinking creative mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a low-ego approach that enables you to thrive in diverse teams. Your success in this role depends on fostering strong partnerships across disciplines and cultivating an inspiring, high-performance creative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the visual design and art direction for CGI-driven projects, from initial concept to final production, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and innovative work across all deliverables
  • Guide the execution for digital and virtual productions (done with Unreal Engine and AI-driven workflows)
  • Create and supervise major deliverables, upholding the highest standards of creative excellence and ensuring alignment with client objectives
  • Collaborate closely with 3D & AI artists, animators, designers, technologists and other creatives to create engaging content across multiple formats, including stills, cinematics and video.
  • Mentor and guide artists while providing supervision for the CGI team
  • Ensure the highest visual quality in all CGI productions, focusing on photorealism, style, lighting, and compositing
  • Prepare and present work alongside Creative Directors during client reviews, effectively communicating creative vision and production approach.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships, actively listening to and understanding their vision, objectives, and feedback.
  • Take a hands-on approach in design execution, working directly on projects with cross-functional teams to drive projects forward and proactively identify areas for improvement
  • Stay ahead of the curve, informed about industry trends and technologies, integrating new innovations into the creative processes 
  • Together with production develop solutions to overcome technical limitations to bring the creative vision to life

 

About You

  • 5-7+ years of design and art direction experience in advertising, marketing or production
  • Experience as a CGI artist or a strong familiarity with CGI workflows is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and consistently meeting tight deadlines.
  • Possess an exceptional creative background, inherently understanding digital production
  • Collaborate effectively with creative leads and artists, developing on-brand content that meets briefing requirements
  • Contribute constructively to strategic and creative discussions throughout the entire project lifecycle, from conception to production.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience crafting production briefings and guidelines to ensure consistency across all touch points
  • A versatile, contemporary, digital-centric portfolio showcasing a proven track record of excellence across multiple formats (digital, video, social, etc.) is required.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and collaboration software, including CGI knowledge
  • Experience in the automotive and/or production industries is highly desired.
  • Highly creative and imaginative with a strong visual and design aesthetic.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented and organised
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable, thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Adept at handling quick turnarounds as part of a dedicated, collaborative team.
  • Constructive, solution-oriented, and client-centric, balancing a strong work ethic with a positive, humble approach, eager to learn from clients and teammates.
  • Manage projects efficiently, minimising friction and maximising productivity
  • Open to feedback, providing clear rationale and readily offering alternative solutions, seamlessly transitioning between projects and brands.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Driven to become a subject matter expert with a strong understanding of related creative disciplines
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality work.
  • Stay ahead of the curve, informed about emerging creative trends, cultures, and technologies.
