We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Group Director of Business Operations to enhance our media operations efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of media operations, with experience collaborating with key internal media, finance, legal, and technical stakeholders to deliver exceptional results for clients. The Associate Group Director must be able to listen for understanding and reimagine better ways of working while working across regions and global markets.
- Strategic Oversight:
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s goals and enhance efficiency on a global scale.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the overall media strategy, ensuring alignment with client objectives across regions.
- Operational Excellence:
- Continually audit end-to-end media operations to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Understand the tools necessary to empower the media team to efficiently and effectively deliver quality products to clients.
- Collaborate with the Operations and regional leads on the day-to-day operations of media planning, buying, and execution, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- Work with the AI/Product team to design and implement an end-to-end operating system that enhances efficiency and effectiveness while enabling teams to better service clients.
- Collaborate with regional teams to identify needs and implement change management plans that drive best practices globally.
- Provide regular financial reporting and insights to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with the AI team to reduce workflow costs by 10%.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients where necessary, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Collaborate with client leads of top accounts to co-develop client-specific tools necessary for success.
- Best Practices Development:
- Develop best-in-class standards for internal integration and communication across teams and regions.
- Work with the AI / Product team to automate key team tasks such as media trafficking, and create innovative ways of working, codifying and sharing knowledge throughout the organization.
- Customize workflows as necessary to meet the needs of specific media disciplines and/or regions, ensuring that quality is not compromised.
The essentials:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in media or marketing operations, with a proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of media planning, buying, and analytics across various channels (digital, traditional, social).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in media planning tools and analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be a collaborative individual contributor who listens for understanding and reimagines better ways of working.
