We are seeking an experienced SoC architect for our fast-growing automotive SoC developments. In this role you will drive the hardware architecture specification for the Tenstorrent Automotive central chiplet. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and system architects, to ensure successful development of the automotive chiplet SoC.
This role is Remote based out of The United States.

Responsibilities:
- Write detailed specifications for automotive chiplets / SoCs.
- Present the architecture to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Propose new features that enhance performance, power and area (PPA).
- Ensure that devices meet the reliability and safety requirements for an automotive product.
- Perform IP reviews and vendor selection.
- Describe chiplet and SoC level use-case for performance analysis.
- Gather and track requirements and features and drive these to successful completion.
- Work closely with design and verification to ensure a successful product
- Work closely with implementation teams to provide architectural guidance throughout the project.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of SoC architecture and trade-offs.
- Knowledge of high speed IO, including LPDDR, Ethernet, PCIe.
- High level understanding of ISP and camera processing is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of CPU subsystems and the supporting components (RISC-V or ARM)
- Solid understanding of computer architecture, interconnects and memory system behaviour
- Experience with functional safety / ISO26262 is a strong plus.
- Experience with AEC-Q100/104 and automotive device reliability is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex system-level issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
