THE ROLE:
AMD is looking for a passionate leader with a track record of successfully collaborating with Independent Hardware (IHV) and Software Vendors (ISVs) on joint solution enablement and joint Go-To-Market Marketing activities in the automotive space. As a senior member of the AMD Embedded team, you will work with strategic IHV and ISV ecosystem partners to define experiences, enable optimized solutions for AMD embedded processors, and jointly develop marketing plans for partners.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate is a dynamic and technical marketing leader who has successfully developed relationships with IHV's and ISV’s to help drive business growth. This person must be able to cultivate relationships with partners, align with partners on joint solutions, and drive joint marketing activities. As the owner of the solution, the person must drive business-centric decisions with AMD and partner engineering leadership, business executives, and marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and manage partnerships with Automotive ecosystem partners (hardware and software).
- Be a domain knowledge expert in Automotive experiences - HMI, audio, video, camera, automated driving.
- Establish joint solutions with ISV partners. Maintain strong roadmap alignment and work with engineering teams to develop joint proof of concepts that demonstrate AMD value proposition.
- Develop marketing plans jointly with ISV partners. Identify marketing activities by quarter and track and monitor progress and completion.
- Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet established Return on Investment (ROI) metrics.
- Build team to create collateral and proof points with IHV and ISV partners to highlight AMD product value proposition.
- Collaborate with Corporate Marketing and PR teams to evangelize AMD+ISV partner solutions and technologies.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Long proven background in Hardware or Software partner ecosystem development
- Product marketing experience in automotive or related industry
- Must have demonstrated experience developing partnerships
- Deep technical knowledge in automotive embedded systems development in areas of Digital Cockpit/Infotainment, Autonomous Driving, and Software Defined Vehicles (SDV).
- Experience with x86, ARM or GPU architecture.
- Working knowledge of one or more areas: Android, Linux, AI/ML, or Virtualization

- Bachelor's in Engineering and Masters in Business
