AV Support Engineer

Scale is looking to grow our IT team! We are looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to be part of a fast paced environment that pushes you to learn while doing. This role needs to be great with people and strongly focused on learning and executing. You will need to be comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with a team. 

You will:

  • Seek professional development opportunities within the AV space
  • Manage and troubleshoot complex audio-visual systems, including video conferencing systems, conference room technology, digital signage, sound systems, and other AV equipment which includes the Zoom and Webex Platforms
  • Implement and oversee AV installation projects from start to finish, including equipment selection, installation, testing, and commissioning
  • Document and maintain accurate records of AV system configurations, equipment inventory, and service requests
  • Provide on site support of new remote office builds and room refreshes
  • Plan and execute live events- including company all hands
  • Partner with IT Support, Communications, and multiple vendors in setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of key AV platforms in conference rooms and large event spaces
  • Build Knowledge Base articles on common issues within the AV space
  • Evaluate new technology with strategic partners for standards implementation
  • Analyze day to day operations for potential automation processes
  • Provide executive meeting support
  • Provide training and support to end-users 
  • Have a proactive mindset instead of a reactive mindset

Ideally you'll have:

  • Deep understanding of Zoom support, Zoom Rooms and Cisco Webex
  • Experience running live events, with the ability to run video, audio
  • Intermediate knowledge of audio and video components, signal types, cables
  • Understanding of Extron, Biamp, QSC, JBL, Shure, Poly, Logitech
  • Experienced with network Dante Audio
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Jira Service Management
  • Experience supporting C level executives

Compensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. Scale employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval. $108,000$129,600 USD
