We are seeking a dynamic Business Development, Senior Manager/Director to drive our expansion efforts in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and other Southeast Asian countries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local market, excellent relationship-building skills, and proven track record in client acquisition.

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development, Senior Manager/Director to drive our expansion efforts in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and other Southeast Asian countries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local market, excellent relationship-building skills, and proven track record in client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work Closely with International Business Development, Director, to develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate the Southeast Asian market, focusing on Singapore and Japan.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and customers.
  • Conduct market research to understand local trends, competition, and customer needs.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor products and services to meet local market requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Engineering or a related field (preferred but not required);
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in autonomous vehicle development or technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with the Southeast Asian & Japan market, with experience in client development.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
  • Frequent travel is required.
