We are looking for a BizOps Lead to partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams on various strategic initiatives and ensure that our company runs smoothly as we scale. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end execution of projects across the entire business, from day-to-day operations and finance, to people, hiring, sales, marketing, investor relations and more. The BizOps Lead will be the glue that unites cross-functional efforts and drives operational excellence, and be well-positioned to move into senior leadership or own new lines of business as we grow.
Candidates must be based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate (you will be working on-site at our Mountain View office a few days a week).
Responsibilities:
- Execution: Oversee complex, cross-team initiatives, such as new market entry or product launches, to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and milestones are met.
- Finance: Partner with the Finance team to create financial models, budgets and forecasts, as well as report on KPIs and success metrics.
- People: Help sustain a strong company culture by refining existing processes and implementing new initiatives alongside the People team.
- GTM: Assist the GTM team in developing monetization strategies and optimizing pricing, as well as implementing new GTM strategies, tools and automation.
- Strategy: Analyze industry trends, market dynamics and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and guide company strategy.
- Analysis: Build dashboards and frameworks to inform prioritization and improve our efficiency across teams.
- Investors: Contribute to board/investor communications and activities, including developing board meeting decks, presentations, and addressing other related needs.
- Special Projects: Tackle other ad hoc projects and free up functional leaders to focus on execution within their domains.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM, business, or related discipline; MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, PE/VC, BizOps or strategy, with at least 2 years operating within a company
- Desire to be involved in every aspect of the business with no task too small
- Ability to operate independently and thrive in ambiguous situations
- Great communication skills and experience working cross functionally
- Extremely detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Wizard in PowerPoint/Slides and Excel/Sheets; enjoys building slide decks and models
The base salary range for this full-time position is between $170,000 - $210,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
