THE ROLE

 

Be part of the team that works directly with Google, Amazon and Microsoft on projects such as Google Stadia, AWS Elastic Cloud 2, and Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines. Be part of a hardworking team that develops software for AMD’s GPU Virtualization solution and delivers a premium GPU experience in the Cloud.

 

THE PERSON

A successful candidate is passionate about delivering great products. The candidate will craft and develop the latest Virtualization kernel software with industry professionals. We are looking for candidates who are excited to work in a fast-growing data centre business.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work with internationally world-class cloud providers to enable GPU virtualization
    • Develop AMD’s GPU virtualization solution spanning Windows to Linux graphics software to a variety of Hypervisors (including KVM, Hyper-V, VMware… etc.)
    • Work with cross functional teams to further increase the solution lead between AMD and the competition

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

    • Strong programming skill in C and C++ languages
    • Deep understanding of operating systems concepts, security, data structures, x86-64 architecture, and virtualization
    • Experience with the GNU and MSVC toolchains
    • Experience with low-level debug tools as well as emulators and simulators
    • Experience in developing and debugging kernel mode device driver software under Linux and/or Windows

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or another relevant field

LOCATION

    • Belgrade OR Nis - AMD Serbia

 

DURATION: 12 month contract with possibility for extension or conversion to permanent full time contract.
