About the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office
The Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) mission is to accelerate the adoption of data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) across the Department of Defense (DoD). The CDAO works across the Military Departments and Services, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands (CCMD), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and other DoD Components to design, develop, field, and scale technologies, capabilities, strategies, policies, and other guidance related to data, analytics, and AI in support of DoD's warfighting and business functions, including responding to crises and emerging challenges with state of the art digital solutions.
The Enterprise Analytics Division provides development and analytic framework to enable analytics aligned to DoD’s functional areas and PSA responsibilities. Supports the development of well-designed tools and products using AI/ML capabilities to raise data quality, advance analytic methods using modern tools, and solve customers' most urgent analytic challenges. Integrate enterprise analytics into executive decision support initiatives to provide quality, timely, and PSA-approved analytics. This includes analytics for Logistics, Financial Management, Readiness, Procurement, Acquisition, Health, Global Force Management, and People.
This position serves as a Technical Product Manager within the CDAO Business Analytics Directorate, providing data and analytic expertise, guidance, and solutions within one or more business analytics domains across OSD and broader DoD. Acting as liaison for DoD customers and stakeholders looking to leverage CDAO capabilities and products that enable data-driven decision making. Providing guidance to stakeholder product teams on data and analytic requirements, planning, and milestones.
This position is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1599f and does not convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. The pay grade for this role is GG-0340-14.

What you'll do here:
Establishes relationships and serves as CDAO liaison for customers and stakeholders within, and across, DoD business analytic domains.Serves as Product Manager of a multidisciplinary solutions teams, responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, execution, and sustainment of marquee CDAO data and analytic products.Provides direction and leadership to contract project managers, collaborating with other CDAO teams, and working closely with engineering and design resources to develop or recommend feasible, viable, and desirable solutions to business domain stakeholdersLeads solutions teams to develop foundational data products necessary for analytics endeavors within DoD business analytic domains. Capturing data challenges that inhibit customers from leveraging data for decision making. Presenting these findings and providing recommendations for better access, visibility, and improvements to quality, to domain stakeholders and CDAO leadership for action.Manages CDAO led solution and product teams planning, milestone achievement and budget execution. Contributing requirements for overall Enterprise Analytics Division roadmap and budget.,
Qualifications
Proven experience in technical product management, with a focus on data-centric products and solutions.Strong understanding of data technologies, data products, etc. including databases, data warehouses, data lakes, ETL processes, and data visualization tools.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and the ability to engage with communicate effective to non-technical customers.Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable requirements.Experience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completion.Experience and/or understanding in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.,
