About the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office
The Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) mission is to accelerate the adoption of data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) across the Department of Defense (DoD). The CDAO works across the Military Departments and Services, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and other DoD Components to design, develop, field, and scale technologies, capabilities, strategies, policies, and other guidance related to data, analytics, and AI in support of DoD's warfighting and business functions, including responding to crises and emerging challenges with state-of-the-art digital solutions.
This position serves as the Operations Analyst within the Governance Division of the Policy Directorate. The incumbent will build and maintain imperative partnerships with stakeholders within the DoD and the Intelligence community to achieve strategic impact and drive mission objectives.
This position is in the Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It is being recruited under 10 U.S.C. 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system. This position is GG-301-15.

What you'll do here:
Serves as an Operations Specialist in the Governance Division, where the incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining enduring partnerships with stakeholders across the DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) to develop initiatives designed to achieve strategic impact.Builds community coalitions to resolve controversial issues and implement usable and effective solutions to intelligence, program protection, and sensitive decision support problems to improve the enterprise between key partners in national security.Works in concert with senior IC, OSD, military departments, and joint force subject matter experts and leaders to garner support for CDAO initiatives and projects. Facilitates synchronization and integration through partnerships with relevant stakeholders and programs.Serves as liaison between CDAO and IC, fostering collaboration and partnership on mutual mission objectives.Identifies root causes of barriers to data sharing with strategic partners and develops processes to remove or mitigate barriers to ensure necessary data is reaching decision-makers from the battlefield to the boardroom, consistent with Departmental Strategies.Provides recommendations to leadership on ways to address strategic information sharing issues. Implements approved recommendations, working with appropriate stakeholders within CDAO, the Department, or the Intelligence Community.,
