Responsibilities
Set and drive the overall medical strategy at Ataraxis, making sure that Ataraxis answers questions that bring the most value to patients, physicians, and our company.
Serve as the key medical and scientific voice for Ataraxis, representing the company to key opinion leaders, regulators, partners, investors, industry, and others.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with the top key opinion leaders in oncology.
Guide the development of clinical evidence to support adoption of Ataraxis products.
Lead advisory board meetings during and outside of conferences, generating valuable feedback on our products and clinical needs.
Lead and expand the medical affairs and clinical development functions, building and overseeing a team of medical science liaisons, clinical researchers, medical directors, and others.
Represent Ataraxis at major oncology conferences and strategic meetings.
Qualifications
Board-certified MD with extensive experience in oncology, preferably breast cancer.
Established relationships with leading oncologists, KOLs, and decision-makers in the oncology space (e.g., leaders of academic medical centers, PIs of clinical trials), preferably breast cancer.
Exceptional communication and executive presence, with experience presenting to medical, regulatory, and other audiences.
Deep understanding of clinical trial design, regulatory strategy, oncology treatment paradigms, clinical guidelines.
