WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Provide project management support for the VP of Engineering and managing a complex calendar 
  • Lead and manage special projects, such as creating workflows to improve cross-functional collaboration, data tracking, or improving internal processes related to aircraft development or engineering milestones 
  • Assist in research and customer facing activities  
  • Take charge of fostering an engaging culture in our Frisco office 
  • Handle administrative tasks like time management for the team, recruiting reqs, travel, expense reports, etc. 
  • Organize meetings for the team, including design reviews and external meetings  
  • Assist in managing program schedules for aircraft development 
  • Polish slides for meetings, put together documents as needed 
  • Assist in recruiting activities, including LinkedIn sourcing / calling candidates / scheduling interviews 
  • Perform additional ad-hoc tasks to support the success and growth of both the engineering team and the wider business 
  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in project coordination, program management, or executive assistant roles with a strong focus on engineering or technical teams
  • Proven ability to take initiative, remain proactive, and manage complex projects or schedules with superior attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, technical environment, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and C-suite executives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience navigating both operational and strategic challenges in technical settings
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to ensure accountability for engineering action items
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Experience supporting C-suite executives in a rapidly growing company
  • Familiarity with technical project management methodologies and tools
  • Experience working on engineering or product development teams
