AMD together we advance_ LOCATION: Bangalore ONSITE: This role requires the student to work from the Bangalore office throughout the duration of the Co-op/Intern term. First time Co-ops/Interns should work full-time and onsite. The Role Entry level position (1 year contract) to assist the site AV, video conferencing and events technicians, for daily operations of events spaces, boardrooms, and recreational areas of the AMD Bangalore campus. The candidate will receive on the job training to fulfill various functions, including live event technical production, boardroom equipment installation, configuration, and maintenance audits. The candidate will be required to keep up to date documentation related to these various functions, should be able to communicate clearly and appropriately with team members and events clients alike. What you’ll be doing The Audio / Video Co-Op will be working side by side with Information Technology Collaboration Video and Events team to support and evolve the companies Collaboration platforms. Help with Day to day operations and remediation of Video and Audio equipment within the AMD environment with special focus on the APAC facilities equipment. Assist in troubleshooting issues with our infrastructure and assist our knowledge workers on optimal use of the technology in order to conduct effective collaboration activities. Help design and deploy new AV systems into production and replace outdated technology with new platforms. Expand your understand on how AV technology interacts with Cloud Services and major platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Webex What you’ll learn Technical knowledge of how-to setup, install, connect, and troubleshoot audio visual equipment, including video conference systems, cameras, microphones, projectors, monitors, cabling and peripherals. Ability to operate and troubleshoot digital audio mixers for live sound production, video/camera switchers, video playback and digital camera equipment, AV control systems, Use of industry standard meeting platforms, such as Zoom Meetings and webinar, Teams Meetings, Cisco WebEx, and others How to handle customer support challenges that manifest in the day to day operations of production equipment. Working with Media Encoders for webcasting, such as Wirecast, OBS, or Elemental. Assist with Run of Show documents, attendance reports, IT equipment readiness checklist and other items for Audio Video production team. Requirements Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems and general Microsoft Office applications. Looking for a student pending graduation (B.Tech, Bsc, BCA) in the Computer Science, Electronics Communication, Event and Media Production Diploma or related Audio / Video technical education tracks. Ability to communicate clearly in the English Language (both Spoken and Written formats) KEY QUALIFICATIONS: List specific desired skills or experience (i.e., projects relating to a certain area, not years of experience).
