AMD together we advance_ The Role: We are looking for our next team member to join us in this exciting new role, as a part of our Commercial Systems Channel sales team, reporting into the leader of the NSP Channel sales team for North America, to help build AMD’s commercial systems channel business in NA, in support of our customers’ datacenter and commercial client needs. Driving business development with CDW by evangelizing AMD technology, building sales programs, enabling sales teams through training, and managing executive relationships. The Person: Does this sound like you? We'd love to talk! An established background and relationships with CDW and OEMs (eg. Dell, HPE, HPi, Lenovo, Cisco, etc) Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams Executive presentation skills to multiple constituents: customers, sellers, technical specialists and business leaders Willing to travel up to 50% of the time Key Responsibilities: Understand the partner’s business goals and requirements; cultivate relationships and manage expectations to mutually aligned business goals with AMD. Educate partners on AMD technologies and solutions; may be brought in by partners to help sell AMD technology in OEM products to end customers. Create and implement sales and marketing programs to grow AMD’s business @ CDW. Manage executive relationships. Establish and maintain account plan to promote sales growth. Develop and cultivate pipeline to achieve assigned quota for AMD products. Be a strong advocate for the partner internally to AMD, reporting and resolving customer issues. Preferred Experience: Proven success in comparable roles, developing strong customer relationships leading to sales achievement Academic Credentials: Minimum of a Bachelors’ Degree preferred Location: Chicago, IL #LI-KH1 At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
