📐 About this role
We are looking for a skilled Corporate IT manager to support Writer’s rapid growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Writer’s IT infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency, security, and reliability.
This role requires a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
🦸🏻♀️ Your responsibilities:
Administer and maintain IT infrastructure; including SaaS services, workstations, mobile devices, and employee onboarding/offboarding
Implement, configure, and troubleshoot corporate systems management tools to streamline employee onboarding, offboarding, and access management processes
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within Google Workspace, Google Cloud, HRIS and workforce management systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and security standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT-related projects and initiatives, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed
Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical company data and ensure business continuity
Stay up-to-date with trends and advancements in IT technology and security, recommending and implementing best practices to enhance our company's IT infrastructure
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, resolving IT-related issues in a timely and efficient manner
Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps, maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for future reference
⭐️ Is this you?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Corporate IT Manager, Lead, Specialist, or similar role
Experience working with Google Workspace and workforce management systems
Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and IT best practices
Proficiency in system administration tasks on MacOS, Linux, and Windows operating systems
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
Experience scaling IT infrastructure to support a fast-growing company, ideally from 100 to 1000 employees
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
Experience with Rippling's suite of products and/or relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus
*Please note that this role is hybrid for our New York City office and applicants should be willing to be in office 2 or more days a week
