AMD together we advance_ THE ROLE: This dynamic, high-visibility role involves driving product quality and reliability data analysis, presenting findings to senior management and external customers to enhance customer satisfaction and confidence. The candidate will collaborate with Global Operations, key business units, engineering leadership, business operations, sales, and end customers. Strong technical skills, a solid understanding of server CPU technologies, and effective communication abilities are essential for debugging systems-level issues from firmware to applications. The role requires seamless collaboration across internal teams and customers during critical issue escalations, ensuring timely resolution to meet customer satisfaction. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product quality and reliability, with extensive knowledge of semiconductor IC product development, customer engagement, and project management. They will take charge of all aspects of data management for AMD's datacenter CPU products, ensuring top-notch performance and reliability. This high-visibility role is perfect for individuals with exceptional expertise who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about driving innovation and excellence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the primary interface for quality and reliability-related matters with customers. Lead cross-functional activities across design, platform, operations, customer system bring-up, and manufacturing to ensure product quality and reliability standards are met. Communicate technical results clearly and accurately, driving issues to successful resolution. Maintain high organization, prioritize effectively, and balance multiple work streams to meet tight deadlines. Influence Fab and OSAT suppliers to meet product quality requirements, including NUDD (New, Outstanding, Different, Difficult) for future technologies. Achieve customer quality goals per program milestones, including direct customer interactions. Measure and enhance outgoing product quality throughout the product lifecycle. Maintain robust quality processes and quality management systems. Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Proven customer-facing experience with the ability to network, build relationships, and drive effective decision-making across multiple functions and organizational levels. Skilled in addressing customer quality issues with structured problem-solving and effective communication. Experience in product quality, reliability, or product engineering, preferably within the semiconductor industry; board-level experience is a significant advantage. Strong knowledge of server CPU and embedded architecture, firmware (e.g., BIOS) settings, boot processes, and BMC for hardware monitoring and management. Proficient in data analytics of manufacturing and customer data. Familiarity with JMP for data analysis and the ability to perform data modeling/scripting is a plus. Experience with semiconductor manufacturing and test flow, including fab, bump, assembly, and test. Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end system/component/process interactions.
