The Team

The Marketing and insight analyst will be part of the Marketing Analytics and Insight team. This team is part of the marketing operation, and works in close partnership with cross functional teams including the broader go-to-market organization, marketing and sales organizations. As the engine and oil of our marketing machine, driving efficiency, optimization and smooth operations. 

The Role

The Data and Lead Generation Analyst will focus on managing and analyzing marketing data to optimize lead generation strategies and improve business outcomes. A key aspect of the role includes database management, ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of data critical for marketing performance and pipeline growth. This position is ideal for an individual passionate about using data to inform decisions and drive impactful results

The Work You’ll Do

Database and Data Management:

  • Maintain and optimize marketing databases to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with IT and Operations to manage integrations between marketing systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and databases.
  • Perform regular data cleansing, enrichment, and segmentation to enhance lead quality and usability.

Data-Driven Lead Generation:

  • Leverage database insights to develop audience segmentation and execute targeted lead generation strategies.
  • Monitor lead performance across campaigns and identify high-conversion opportunities.
  • Use marketing automation tools and data pipelines to streamline lead generation and routing processes.

Advanced Data Analysis:

  • Analyze data from CRM systems and marketing databases to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities for growth.
  • Utilize database querying tools (e.g., SQL) to extract and manipulate data for deeper analysis.
  • Apply predictive analytics and modeling techniques to improve lead scoring and pipeline forecasting.

Campaign and Funnel Optimization:

  • Track and analyze lead behavior throughout the funnel, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights to optimize marketing campaigns, focusing on key metrics like lead quality, conversion rates, and ROI.

Reporting & Insights:

  • Build and maintain dashboards that integrate database insights with marketing performance metrics.
  • Present actionable insights to marketing and sales teams to guide strategy development and improve alignment.

Collaboration:

  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to ensure database-driven lead generation strategies align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate on database-related projects to improve system efficiency and user experience.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on database management best practices, emerging tools, and trends in marketing analytics.
  • Test and implement new technologies to enhance database performance and lead generation effectiveness.

The qualifications you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Database Management, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in database management, marketing analytics, or lead generation (internship experience may be considered).
  • Strong experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot and their associated databases.
  • Knowledge of database querying languages (e.g., SQL) and data manipulation techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Experience with data modeling, segmentation, or predictive analytics is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex database insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and data-driven mindset, eager to leverage database management for measurable results.
