We’re hiring a new Data Lead. As a Data Lead at Contextual you will:

• Liaise with internal customers to understand their needs. 
• Define data requirements and design appropriate datasets.
• Maintain documentation, including labelling instructions and project overviews.
• Create and improve data labelling frameworks.
• Implement and maintain scalable process for managing data requests.
• Enable, support and hold accountable the work of annotators.
• Give regular feedback to annotators.

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

• In-depth understanding of data labelling, particularly data labelling frameworks and taxonomies.
• Experience in project management and/or relationship management. 
• Understanding of how AI models work, particularly LMs and RAG.
• Understanding of commercial applications of LMs and RAG.
• Basic coding skills for data analysis, including working familiarity with Google Sheets and Python.
