THE ROLE:

We are looking for our next team member to drive our Dell Client strategy and demand for AMD-based Dell products. The primary focus is to work closely with Dell marketing and sales teams to win market share and grow sales for AMD Ryzen-based products within the Dell client portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and implement the global sales out / sell through strategy with Dell
  • Grow client market share
  • Work with AMD and Dell global and regional leaders to drive the AMD/Dell strategy and execution
  • Expand business relationships with key Dell leaders in PG, COC, Marketing and Sales organizations, and partner closely on business growth opportunities and alignment of funding programs with same
  • Establish a quarterly business review cadence
  • Coordinate and support events and training and collaborate with AMD marketing and event teams to improve AMD presence and amplify the partnership
  • Work closely with AMD BU to ensure the vital operations requirements are in place to drive efficient customer transactions
  • Coordinate and close sales pipeline opportunities between Dell’s regional teams and AMD
  • Drive channel programs and sales with partners
  • Funnel new market opportunities to the AMD design-in and business unit teams

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven sell-in or product experience in global or regional sales
  • Proven experience working in the commercial segment in a regional or global capacity
  • Familiarity with Dell internal structure and operating model
  • Experience with marketing programs and deliverables to drive sales in the semiconductor or PC industry
  • Experience in building strategic relationships at the exec and working levels
  • A consistent track record of success in working around design and sells cycles
  • Experience working within complicated cross functional team environment, and ability to prioritize thoughtfully

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

University or four-year college degree in Business or equivalent experience

 

LOCATION:

Austin, TX preferred, but will consider other US locations for the right person
