We have deployed a platform for creators & publishers to turn their long text into audio with compelling and natural voices. Currently, we are expanding the capabilities of the platform to incorporate comprehensive generative voice control. This entails developing tools to convert videos and podcasts into speech, supporting multiple languages, while maintaining the unique characteristics of the speaker's voice, providing emotional control, and even creating entirely new character voices.
ElevenLabs was founded by two experienced engineers who previously worked at Google and Palantir, bringing their expertise from the world of big tech into a new frontier. We have secured venture capital funding and have recently concluded our successful Series-A round.

About the roleWe are hiring for our first developer advocate. You’ll start by defining our strategy for growing our developer user base through interviewing users building with ElevenLabs. Then you'll start by creating great open-source demos and leveraging this to make high-quality content. You’ll focus specifically on our technical self-serve customers to drive customer acquisition (by getting to the front page of HackerNews, driving SEO traffic, and some Twitter threads), and activation (through in-depth tutorials and guides). This is perfect for someone that has spent time writing code but their true passion is for writing and supporting other developers.

What you bringYou like to regularly publish engaging technical content
Strong full-stack engineer with an eye for design
You can come up with a great idea for a tutorial, build a working demo, and create a high-quality blog post
You will treat technical content as a product - understanding the metrics and speaking to users to decide what to build/write, and then doubling down on what works
(Bonus) You’ve built something already with the ElevenLabs APIs

A base salary between $80k and $150k; depending on qualification and experience.
