AMD together we advance_ THE ROLE: AMD is looking for a specialized software engineer who is passionate about improving the performance of key applications and benchmarks. You will be a member of a core team of incredibly talented industry specialists and will work with the very latest hardware and software technology.  THE PERSON: The ideal candidate should be passionate about software engineering and possess leadership skills to drive sophisticated issues to resolution. Able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMD. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain AI assistant tools and microservices as part of a collaborative team. Work closely with DevOps engineers to integrate AI models into the deployment pipeline. Create and maintain CI/CD processes for AI assistant tools and microservices. Collaborate with the development team to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, DevOps, Kubernetes, and related technologies. Contribute to the development and improvement of internal AI code review processes and guidelines. Requirements: Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI development, such as Python. Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms. Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector DBs such as Weaviate DB, Llama index, and LangChain. Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes. Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or GCP is a plus Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in deploying AI models in production environments.
