The Team
Group Risk Management (GRM) collaborates with businesses as a trusted advisor, facilitating well-informed decisions that support Nasdaq’s strategic objectives. GRM manages and continues to enhance the Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Control, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Corporate Insurance frameworks and programs. These programs facilitate the identification, assessment, monitoring, and treatment and reporting of all types of risks, Nasdaq faces.
The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team of GRM is seeking a Director -ERM supporting the Capital Access Platforms Division (CAP). The position will report to the AVP – Head of Enterprise Risk Management for Capital Access Platforms Division. The Director will be responsible for supporting the ongoing implementation and execution of the ERM Framework; assisting in the development and implementation of ERM tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report related risks.
What you will do
- Drive risk initiatives: Lead and manage risk-related projects and initiatives across the entire portfolio of products and projects within the organization, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Lead various risk assessments: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, providing effective challenge and oversight to ensure that key risks are identified, evaluated, and managed appropriately.
- Oversee incident reporting: Manage the process of incident reporting, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of incidents. Develop and present detailed management reports to business unit leaders to inform decision-making.
- Serve as a risk management expert: Act as the primary point of contact for risk management expertise, building and maintaining strong relationships with business and technology management to support risk-informed decision-making.
- Execute risk management training: Design and deliver training programs to employees at all levels, fostering a proactive risk culture and enhancing the organization's overall risk management capabilities.
- Support compliance: Ensure adherence to Nasdaq’s Business Continuity and Crisis Management Policy by providing guidance and support to business units, helping them to develop and maintain effective continuity and crisis management plans.
- Effectively communicate with the broader global risk team and partner with peers to ensure consistency of approach and awareness of issues, challenges, and opportunities; achieving shared goals and objectives and providing value-add to the organization.
What we expect
- Education and Experience: Degree in a relevant field with a significant number of years in risk management, compliance, management consulting or audit in financial services.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in Listings, Index, Data Products, Data Analytics, Corporate Solutions, Investment Bank, Asset Management or Financial Technology is a plus.
- Risk Management: Proven experience with integrated risk management frameworks.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and visualization abilities.
- Collaboration: Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and results-oriented; ability to drive results, effect change, and have a positive impact on the organization.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and able to successfully multi-task and prioritize work.

What happens now?
This is a full-time permanent position located in Vilnius. Nasdaq offers a hybrid workplace to find a balance between working from home and collaborating in the office, therefore it's required to come into the office at least 2 days per week.
Monthly base salary 4000 – 4500 EUR gross. The final offer will be based on your experience and skills.
