What you'll do:

  • Oversee the planning and coordination of materials required for production.
  • Manage inventory levels, develop procurement plans, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to optimize material flow and reduce costs.
  • Implement and maintain efficient materials management processes and systems.
  • Hire, train, and lead a skilled team to manage materials and planning effectively.
  • Assist in setting up manufacturing facilities internationally
  • Required qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in materials management and production planning.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, procurement processes, and logistics.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MRP software.
  • Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar certification.
