About The Role

As the Director of Solutions Engineering, you will play a critical role in leading and scaling our Solutions Engineering team, driving strategic initiatives to support our expansion into upmarket enterprise accounts. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Sales to ensure that our solutions align with customer needs, improve product adoption, and accelerate revenue growth. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and strategic thinking to build a high-performing team that delivers exceptional value to our customers.

This fully remote role reports to the CRO and is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental U.S.

 What you will do at Jasper

  • Lead, scale, and mentor the Solutions Engineering team to support Jasper’s growth, with a focus on upmarket and enterprise customers.

  • Develop and execute strategies that align Solutions Engineering with sales goals, ensuring high-impact technical engagements that drive deal success.

  • Partner closely with Product and Marketing to provide customer insights, shape roadmap decisions, and refine messaging to resonate with technical and business buyers.

  • Establish and optimize best practices, tools, and processes to enhance team efficiency and customer engagement.

  • Act as a key technical advisor to strategic customers, influencing executive stakeholders and guiding them toward successful implementations.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.

What you will bring to Jasper

  • 10+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or related technical sales leadership roles in B2B Enterprise SaaS

  • 3+ years of experience leading and scaling high-performing teams

  • Deep marketing and industry IQ

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in supporting the entire customer journey, from presale through to post-sale

  • You are considered a thought leader within your respective company, among customers, and the industries they support

  • Proven track record of working with enterprise customers and driving successful technical sales engagements.

  • Strong technical background in cloud-based software, APIs, and integrations.

  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

  • Experience working in AI, machine learning, or automation technologies.

  • Passion for building and optimizing scalable teams and processes in a fast-growth environment.

Compensation Range

At Jasper, we believe in pay transparency and are committed to providing our employees and candidates with access to information about our compensation practices. The expected OTE offered for this role is $250,000. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
