You will help build and lead the Systems Engineering function in our Hivemind on X group. You will be charged with defining, coordinating, and communicating important information and artifacts pertaining to Systems Engineering outputs. In this role, you will collaborate closely with software teams, test engineers, and specialized project teams to define the Systems Engineering processes to produce various systems architectures, requirements decomposition, and modelling of the software solutions for various applications.

As a manager of the Hivemind on X Systems Engineering group, you will be responsible for:
Defining and ensuring execution against industry standard Systems Engineering processesUse the Cameo tool to document our existing architecture and design future architectureDevelop and maintain models using Unified Modeling Language (UML), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), and/or Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM)Develop SysML models with emphasis on system decomposition, functions, interfaces, and behaviorCollaborate with SMEs for improved tooling and connection to code for automated system modelsLeading cross-functional teams on projectsCollaborating to define implementations of the systems engineering processesEngage cross functionally with product management, program management, mechanical engineering, embedded engineering, business development, and other company leadersReport status, risks, accomplishments, expectations to senior leadership Required qualifications:
B.S. degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline, such as Aerospace, Software or Electrical Engineering.12+ years of experience in systems engineering, or a related field.Organized and methodical.Experience with Systems Engineering practices and principals, including writing, organizing, and verifying requirements.Experience in reading, interpreting, and applying engineering drawings, including assembly drawings, parts lists, wiring diagrams, and schematics.Experience working in cross-functional teams.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.Demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others.The ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Preferred qualifications:
B.S. or M.S. degree in software engineering, systems engineering, or related field8+ years in product design and development within electrical, software, avionics, or guidance, navigation, control domain
