THE ROLE:
As a key contributor to the success of AMD’s AECG CSE (Customer & Strategy Engineering) organization, you will lead a new created engineering team driving the delivery of high quality, industry-leading solution, desired reference design to the customers. The team fosters and encourages continuous technical innovation to succeed and facilitate continuous career development.
THE PERSON:
We are seeking a driven, experienced, and self-motivated technical leader to join our dynamic team, passionate about advancing FPGA-based acceleration technology.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team (RTL, SW, and DV) dedicated to delivering robust, high-quality solutions.
- Take charge of project planning, development, and schedule management, ensuring that all dependencies are managed and that the quality of work remains exceptional.
- Own the team’s contributions, collaborating with other global CSE groups for specification clarification, architecture design, feature implementation, optimization, enablement, and validation.
- Lead efforts to debug and resolve issues identified by both internal and external customers, coordinating with partners (FAE, WTS) as necessary.
- Work closely with customers to determine solution specifications, ensuring a deep understanding of their technical needs and requirements.
- Guide and mentor local CSE team members, while presenting regular project updates to the global CSE organization.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5+ years of engineering management and technical leadership experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to bridge multiple engineering disciplines (RTL, SW, and DV) and connect with management.
- Strong understanding of data center networking technologies, including RDMA, VirtIO, OVS, and L2~L4 protocols.
- Proficiency in CPU technologies, such as high-speed PCIe and DMA, as well as SW driver frameworks.
- Expertise in FPGA RTL development and system validation.
- Collaborative, customer-oriented mindset with a keen desire to explore new networking and cluster technologies.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, with 15+ years of experience.
