We seek an exceptional Engineering Team Lead to drive our claims and core systems development. This role offers the opportunity to impact a critical aspect of our business significantly. Architect and lead the development of our claims systemBuild and lead a new, elite engineering team capable of tackling diverse, complex challengesFoster positive relationships through collaboration with cross-functional teams across global sitesBalance hands-on development with strategic leadership, optimizing for both velocity and qualityPartner closely with product teams to understand and implement critical features in the claims domainDrive architectural decisions, system design, and technology choices that shape our platform's futureChampion engineering best practices and innovative solutions across the companyMentor and grow team members, aligning their professional development with company goalsExemplify and foster Fairmatic’s humble, collaborative, and impact-obsessed culture,
What you will need:
7+ years of engineering experience, with 3+ years in an early-stage startup environment2+ years of team leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to hire and grow high-performing teamsBA/BSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent fieldExcellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse, global teamsProactive mindset to drive change and push for innovative solutionsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical challengesStrong background in software architecture and system design for scalable, cloud-based applicationsProficiency in Python or any similar OO programming languageExpertise in DBs, including SQL, NoSQL, and Big data systems Understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and DevOps best-practicesKnowledge of web development and ability to lead full-stack developersSome of our Tel Aviv Office Benefits & Perks:
