Codeium already gives AI-powered tools to hundreds of thousands of individual developers and development teams at thousands of enterprises, from startups to Fortune 500 companies. With millions of installations of our extensions and intense traction in the enterprise sector, Codeium has uniquely already achieved strong product market fit, and is looking to take it to the next level. As an events marketer, you will be responsible for executing large-scale in-person and virtual live marketing initiatives. You are expected to work relatively autonomously and will have agency to execute on ideas. Your role will be instrumental in driving adoption of AI technology.

This is a unique opportunity to work at an AI startup with a real product and real users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conference Execution: Strategizing, coordinating, and executing on both developer focused and enterprise focused conferences to increase brand awareness and enterprise top-of-funnel.

  • Events & Meetups: Build groundswell of positive public sentiment and community.

As part of the above, you will be responsible for

  • Producing swag and materials to be used at these events

  • Maintaining relationships with venues and vendors

  • Negotiating with venues, vendors, and partners

  • Attending relevant events where appropriate

  • Reporting status and tracking expenses in an organized manner

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 2+ years professional experience in events marketing.

  • Experience organizing regional events and large tech conferences such as AWS re:Invent, Google Cloud Next, etc.

  • Experience managing budgets for such activities.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong creativity and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

  • (Optional) Past experience working with B2B SaaS startups.
