Fall 2024 SoC Virtual Model Development Co-Op/ Intern LOCATION: Austin, TX. ONSITE: This role requires the student to work from the Austin office throughout the duration of the Co-op/Intern term. First time Co-ops/Interns should work full-time and onsite. PROGRAM TERM: Fall 2024 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: Develop C++ code to improve functionality, stability, and performance of existing models. Develop C++ code to enhance the user's experience using the tool. Develop new, innovative debug features. Develop test plans and tests for functional models. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Experience building their own high-performance desktop computers from parts. Experience developing and debugging C/C++ code in Microsoft Visual Studio and GNU gcc/g++/gdb environments. Understanding of x86 and/or ARM architecture, drivers, and applications. Understanding of modern OS architecture such as Linux. WHAT WOULD SET YOU APART: Coop/Academic/Personal experience in low level development environments that may include kernel debugging, BIOS/EFI, or embedded systems. Coop/Academic/Personal experience in functional modeling, architecture simulation, or hardware-based virtualization. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
