AMD together we advance_ THE ROLE: We are seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to join our AI Finance team. Reporting to the Sr. Director of AI Finance, this role will be pivotal in providing strategic financial support for AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for AI and a strong background in financial analysis and modeling. This is a unique opportunity to blend finance with cutting-edge technology. You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally and present your findings to leadership, making a significant impact on AI strategy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate and monitor key strategic contracts related to AI activities. Collect and manage AI revenue, margins, and business units; working cross-functionally from defining AI criteria to consolidation and reporting to executive leadership. Support roadmap analysis and new product introductions for AMD’s AI products. Monitor competitors and the AI ecosystem for important developments, presenting relevant financial and economic insights. Build and present clear and concise presentations on insights with strategic recommendations to company leadership. Analyze and monitor acquisition-related KPIs. Conduct ad hoc strategic analysis as needed. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Proven experience in building and developing large, complex models with forecasting and historical data/trends. Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, and financial modeling; experience with Alteryx and Tableau is a plus. Strong attention to detail to perform deep-dive analyses to extract insights from data. Self-driven with the initiative to solve problems and handle ambiguity effectively. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple requests simultaneously. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and documentation skills. Knowledge of accounting and GAAP principles. Passionate about AI. ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Degree in Business, Finance, or related fields. An MBA and/or CFA is a plus. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
