Financial Analyst

Overview

This position provides a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic financial environment, leveraging data-driven insights to support business decision-making. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in evaluating business performance, collaborating with stakeholders across departments, and contributing to financial planning and reporting processes.

Key responsibilities include analyzing financial data to provide strategic insights, supporting budget management, and ensuring financial compliance across regional offices. Additionally, the analyst will work closely with corporate and regional teams to align financial strategies, optimize cost structures, and enhance reporting efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance financial models for reporting, reviewing results, and forecasting
  • Prepare and present analyses, findings, and executive reports, including strategic reviews for senior executives
  • Extract data from various sources and perform in-depth financial analysis to provide actionable insight
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including corporate finance and regional offices, to ensure financial data accuracy and support decision-making
  • Develop and maintain a structured budget tracking process, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and proactively identifying anomalies
  • Conduct financial assessments for regional entities, including performance reviews, ratio analysis, acquisition evaluations, and annual financial reviews
  • Support financial reporting and analysis by identifying key performance trends and operational efficiencies

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiation, reasoning, and problem-solving
  • Proven ability to develop and present executive-level reports and data visualizations
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • High level of discretion and judgment in handling confidential information
  • Ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and scenario forecasting using Excel (such as pivot tables, Power Query, dashboard creation, or financial automation tools)
  • Professional command of English and Arabic, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience working with SAP or other enterprise financial systems
  • Familiarity with analytical reporting tools such as Power BI
  • Understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with budgeting and planning methodologies and tools
  • Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • CFA or CPA/SOCPA certification is a plus
