We are looking for a Freelance Portuguese part time local music consultant to help our Portuguese Music Editor with playlisting and other day to day programming. He/She will be responsible for basic translations and local context support for an important streaming client in Portugal.
We need someone with a big understanding of current genres, top artists, and key trends. We are looking for someone very insightful into current local music but also someone actively using platforms where music is discovered by fans.
Responsibilities:
- Consulting on local playlist selections, song lyrics, genre affiliations, translations, playlist titles, playlist descriptions etc.
- Flagging any market/cultural/musical inconsistency among local content following guidelines shared by the client.
- Supporting the client team to understand related musical contexts and musical/cultural landscape of the market, to be tracked on the cadence specified with the client.
- The Service Provider is required to meet deadlines shared by client for providing feedback and completing deliverables
- Participating in at least one weekly google hangout meeting with the client team to share feedbacks and track project development
- Providing occasional translations for Consumer and Artist Marketing projects in the market
- General monitoring of the podcast space in the market, to be tracked on the cadence specified with the client.

- Background experience with social media platforms (TikTok, Youtube, Instagram...)
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Team player with strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
