About the role

We are looking for full stack engineers to rapidly develop web and mobile applications (including back-ends) that demonstrate our Generative AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop the frontend functionality of our customer-facing web and mobile applications using tools like React, Next.JS
• Design and implement the server-side architecture of the web/mobile applications and public APIs including data storage, and ML services to ensure that the website can later scale to large amounts of traffic and data.
• Write clean and extensible Typescript and Python code since some of it is likely to get released to customers or the general public
• Work closely with product management, design, research and engineering teams to deliver high-quality and user-friendly products
• Optimize performance
• Implement and improve event tracking across our products
• Implement best practices to ensure that the applications can be efficiently tested and debugged, to ensure they work as expected across multiple devices and browsers
• Implement security measures to protect user data and prevent unauthorized access or data breaches.

Qualifications (or what you will bring)

• Passion about building great, enjoyable products
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• 5+ years frontend and backend experience, including working in a highly scalable environment with complex release workflows
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience and strong interest in AI, e.g.: to speed up application development
• Able to write comprehensive technical documentation
• Proven ability to work in both rapid prototyping mode and to ship/maintain large-scale products

Compensation

The salary range for this role is between $133,000 and $247,000. Individual pay within the range is based on factors like job-related skills and experience. Total compensation also includes stock options and benefits.
