Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides companies of all sizes with an infrastructure web services platform in the cloud (“cloud computing”). With AWS you can requisition compute power, storage, and many other services – gaining access to a suite of elastic IT infrastructure services as your business demands them. AWS is the leading platform for designing and developing applications for the cloud and is growing rapidly with hundreds of thousands of companies in over 190 countries on the platform.

World Wide Field Enablement (WWFE) is seeking a Program Manager, Generative AI to help our Solutions and Services Enablement team formulate and execute exceptional enablement experiences for AWS field roles, including sales and technical roles. The Solutions and Services Enablement team's mission is to drive customer success by deeply understanding our customers' business objectives, and then equipping the field with the tailored content, tools, and support needed to effectively sell our solutions at the precise moment they need it. In 2024, we will focus on developing an enablement strategy and repeatable mechanism for data and AI (including generative AI) and scale this model across the Solutions and Service Pillars.

In this role, you will refine and execute our Generative AI Accreditation strategy by working backwards to develop role-specific learning paths aligned with a competency framework. You will partner with the Field Certification Lead to align this experience across enablement programs. You will work with a broad set of stakeholders supporting the extended AWS sales organization, including Learning Experience Design, Go-To-Market Strategy, Specialized Sales, Marketing, Field Enablement Center of Excellence Teams, and Business Unit Aligned Enablement Teams.

A successful candidate has experience working in highly matrixed teams with strong strategic and execution capabilities. The successful candidate combines expertise in enablement with a solid fluency in navigating ambiguity and influencing without authority to deliver results in a global setting. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, ability to work cross-functionally, and translate business needs into impactful business outcomes. They have prior experience with Sales Enablement, leading large programs, and deep understanding of how the field operates. This is a hands-on position, with the ideal candidate willing to “roll up the sleeves” and get things done.
