As an early member of the Global Accounts team at Anthropic, you’ll drive adoption of safe, frontier AI by securing and nurturing deals with the largest market cap companies in the world. You’ll leverage your consultative sales expertise to propel revenue growth while becoming a trusted partner to the world’s leading companies, helping them embed and deploy AI while uncovering its full range of capabilities. 

From your work with partners, you’ll help us develop our go-to-market strategy and develop operational processes, building the foundation for repeatable sales motions.

About Anthropic

Responsibilities:

    • You’ll own the full sales cycle, with an emphasis on growing the most successful deployments of our key accounts. Find your way to the right people at our partners, educate them about LLMs, and help them succeed with Anthropic
    • Become a trusted partner to our customers, nurturing relationships with executive sponsors, GMs, product leads, and data scientists - be able to toggle from high level strategy to supporting the blocking and tackling needed to help partners launch their products 
    • Work cross-functionally with Product, Business Operations, Marketing, and Engineering to share feedback from customers and improve our product 
    • Use your learnings to build and iterate on our playbook and processes

You may be a good fit if you have:

    • 5+ years of experience selling into the world’s largest corporations, ideally at fast-paced, technology start-ups
    • A track record of managing and securing strategic deals by understanding multifaceted technical requirements and crafting tailored solutions
    • Demonstrated ability to navigate dynamic stakeholder ecosystems, building consensus and providing innovative solutions to disparate groups
    • Extensive experience negotiating highly complex, customized commercial agreements with multiple stakeholders
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present confidently and build connections across all customer levels, from ICs to C-level executives
    • A knack for bringing order to chaos and an enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves'' mentality. You are a true team player
    • A strategic, analytical approach to assessing markets combined with creative, tactical execution to capture opportunities
    • A passion for and/or experience with advanced AI systems. You feel strongly about ensuring frontier AI systems are developed safely

Annual Salary:

    • The expected salary range for this position is $200k - $300k. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, and it includes both the annual base salary and sales bonuses.
Logistics
Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in our office at least 25% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits*
Anthropic’s compensation package consists of three elements: salary, equity, and benefits. We are committed to pay fairness and aim for these three elements collectively to be highly competitive with market rates.

Equity - On top of this position's salary (listed above), equity will be a major component of the total compensation. We aim to offer higher-than-average equity compensation for a company of our size, and communicate equity amounts at the time of offer issuance.

And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. We do not have boundaries between engineering and research, and we expect all of our technical staff to contribute to both as needed.
