You will join a team developing state-of-the-art general-purpose robots designed to operate in human spaces and with human tools. It is designed to work alongside humans, mobilize to human spaces, and manipulate the world around it.

We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in highly complex technical projects.  The Project Management function at Apptronik serves as the integrator of the various other business functions that includes engineering, operations, and business development.  Your role is to help consolidate these various interests and drive the projects forward to meet both the individual goals of each specific project while also achieving the company’s vision.    

 

Responsibilities:

  • Management of multiple small projects in parallel in a technical and innovative environment
  • Track and coordinate project to analyze completion against short and long term goals
  • Regularly interact with cross functional team and customers for project updates 
  • Balance inter-department needs (engineering, product, business development); owner of project deliverables 
  • Identify key risks during project execution, and drive technical team toward solutions
  • Self motivated & proactive, demonstrating creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Up to 15% travel

 

 

Skills and Requirements:

  • BS in mechanical or electrical engineering (similar)
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in project management or PCBa Development
  • Excellent written and oral communication in highly technical applications   
  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills     
  • Detailed knowledge of product development process and cycles
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals & manufacturing processes
  • Ability to tolerate stress involved with managing multiple highly complex projects   
  • Experience setting up project schedules & work breakdown structures
  • Working knowledge of project management tools (Microsoft Project, Trello, Jira, etc.)   
  • Excellent knowledge of business software tools (Microsoft office suite, G-Suite, Dropbox, etc.) 

 

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience as a practicing Electrical Engineer or similar
  • Experience with high volume manufacturing
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish
