Head of Marketing Operations
Streamline Marketing Execution and Drive Operational Efficiency
Mission:
Groq is redefining AI inference with our groundbreaking LPU, making AI faster, more efficient, and more accessible than ever before. We are seeking a Director of Program Management to oversee the execution and delivery of high-impact marketing initiatives, ensuring that programs are aligned, on schedule, and meeting business objectives.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing key marketing programs, tracking progress, and ensuring efficient delivery across cross-functional teams. You will work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Finance to keep programs on track and provide the necessary structure to ensure their success.
This is a critical role to ensure that marketing initiatives are executed seamlessly while supporting the growth and scalability of Groq’s marketing efforts.
Responsibilities & opportunities in this role:
- Oversee Program Delivery → Manage the execution of key marketing programs, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet business goals.
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams → Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, Creative, and Growth teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of marketing programs.
- Track Program Progress → Implement systems for tracking timelines, budgets, and milestones, ensuring all stakeholders are updated regularly on program status.
- Ensure Resource Allocation → Work with Marketing Leadership to ensure that resources (people, budget, tools) are properly allocated across programs.
- Optimize Program Efficiency → Identify and address bottlenecks or delays in execution, optimizing workflows and processes to improve overall program delivery.
- Facilitate Communication Across Teams → Ensure clear and consistent communication between teams to keep all stakeholders aligned and projects progressing smoothly
Ideal candidates have/are:
- 10+ years of experience in program management, project management, or marketing operations.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and ensuring timely delivery of complex marketing initiatives.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Trello) and marketing systems (e.g., CRM, reporting platforms).
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to optimize processes and workflows to improve overall execution and efficiency.
- Strong collaboration skills with an ability to work across teams and align multiple stakeholders.
What Success Looks Like
First 90 Days:
- Develop a program management framework to ensure alignment and tracking across marketing initiatives.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify key marketing programs and establish clear timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Begin tracking program progress, providing regular updates to leadership.
By Month 6:
- Successfully manage the execution of key marketing initiatives, ensuring programs stay on track and meet business objectives.
- Optimize processes and workflows to improve efficiency and cross-team collaboration.
- Implement regular communication updates to ensure the timely execution of programs.
By Month 12:
- Build a scalable program management framework to handle Groq’s growing marketing initiatives.
- Ensure timely, efficient delivery of marketing programs across teams and regions.
- Continue refining processes to improve execution speed and impact across marketing initiatives.

Location: Groq is known to be a geo-agnostic company, meaning you work where you are. Exceptional candidates will thrive in asynchronous partnerships and remote collaboration methods. Some roles may require being located near our primary sites, as indicated in the job description. This specific role will be considered a hybrid role and will be expected to work from our Palo Alto office a few times per month.
Compensation: At Groq, a competitive base salary is part of our comprehensive compensation package, which includes equity and benefits. For this role, the base salary range is TBD, determined by your skills, qualifications, experience and internal benchmarks.
