As the Head of Production, you will spearhead a production team dedicated to delivering high-quality, engaging live-action content, social campaigns, and innovative assets for a global automotive brand. Your strategic vision and operational expertise will drive efficient production processes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest creative standards. You will play a pivotal role in cultivating strong client relationships, mentoring a talented production team, and enhancing the brand’s storytelling across diverse platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive production strategies tailored to the automotive industry's unique demands and creative vision.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of approximately 15-20 Executive Producers and Producers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
- Establish operational frameworks that optimize resource allocation and enhance production efficiency.
Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients to deeply understand their objectives and deliver tailored, innovative solutions.
- Serve as a senior escalation point across production workstreams, ensuring alignment with client goals and expectations.
Production Excellence:
- Oversee live-action shoots, social content creation, and high-profile campaign launches, ensuring exceptional quality and operational excellence from concept to delivery.
- Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to synchronize production efforts with campaign objectives and storytelling goals.
Innovation & Trend Analysis:
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, including AI advancements, to continuously elevate the studio's creative capabilities and operational effectiveness.
- Develop and implement best practices for process optimization, conducting regular audits of tools, studio equipment, and staffing needs to ensure maximum productivity.
Project Management:
- Lead project estimates and scopes of work (SOWs) in partnership with business affairs and account teams, ensuring clarity and alignment on deliverables.
- Approve project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, maintaining profitability through meticulous margin and burn tracking.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Foster strong collaboration with creative, strategy, and account teams to ensure cohesive project execution and a unified vision.
- Promote transparent communication and alignment across departments to enhance operational efficiency and workflow.
Team Culture:
- Define and embody a collaborative team environment that drives efficiencies and shared objectives.
- Establish KPIs and goals for team leads, cultivating a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of leading multi-million-dollar client engagements, including retained teams, with a focus on operational excellence.
- Extensive experience managing live-action content and social projects with budgets ranging from $200K to $3 million.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and content trends, particularly within the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, data analysis, and audience engagement to enhance operational strategies.
- Ability to leverage technology, including AI, for innovative solutions and process enhancements.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a strong focus on operational efficiency.
