We are seeking a communicative, reliable, and insightful leader and teammate as our Head of Startegy in Monks Mexico City. The ideal candidate is an invaluable researcher, problem-solver, deck builder, and idea generator for internal teams and client partners. You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Key Qualifications- Familiar with brand and campaign frameworks
- Capable of handling both solo tasks and collaborative projects
- Strong writing and communication skills in both Spanish and English (mandatory)
- Own your strategic perspective, bringing your strongest thinking, insights, and communication skills to craft POVs and strategies relevant to clients’ day-to-day needs while driving long-term business goals.
- Exhibit your best strategic self by applying frameworks, approaches, historical findings, and life experiences, sharing and adapting with other Monks across various strategic pillars and executions.
- Communicate effectively as an articulate writer, speaker, and presenter.
- Research and collect information using desk research, social listening, and syndicated data, both independently and in collaboration with our Research team.
- Build compelling slide decks that tell a story, captivate audiences, and leverage data to support your points and strategies, using imagery and design for maximum impact in Google Slides.
- 10+ years of experience at an agency or company in brand strategy, planning, or a similar role.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with a knack for storytelling; confident in presenting to important clients.
- Self-starter eager to contribute to existing and new clients.
- Passion for culture and knowledge across multiple categories and audiences, especially in the US (previous experience in the US market is a BIG plus).
- Intelligent and perceptive, able to see connections and the bigger picture where others may not.
- Persuasive and thoughtful, with the ability to change minds through storytelling.
- Hands-on approach, willing to participate in pitches and present to clients, representing Monks in new business opportunities.
- Advanced English proficiency is a must.
