THE ROLE:

We are looking for our next team member to support our WW HPE sales team. Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of customer pricing processes, forecast and attainment planning and also holding other internal groups responsible for achieving timelines and results.

The role also includes engaging with the sales team on critical issues and customer communications as it pertains to supply chain; customer issue resolution interacting with planning, finance, sales, BU and other groups as required. The successful candidate will have a knowledge of customer operations, planning, and finance and will bring a strong business process orientation.

  • Ability to listen to the customer and articulate the customer’s needs internally within AMD while managing AMD internal objectives
  • Motivation to sustain high-energy and complex activity levels, in-region and remotely to other regional teams on a world-wide support model.
  • Ability to accommodate flexible working hours, if needed.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Responsible for providing the GAM team with (including but not limited to):

  • Become GAM team specialist on SFDC tools and processes
  • Management of team sales pipeline reporting
  • Day to day interaction with AMD sales finance and pricing operations
  • Update and manage account team funding tracker inputs
  • Responsible for internal price agreements including quarterly, rebates, etc..
  • Preparation of analysis and documentation for internal pricing/funding request processes

 

Responsible for customer management (including but not limited to):

  • Inputs into weekly pipeline meetings including prep, tracker maintenance, and action item follow up
  • Day to day interaction with customer rebate and claims teams
  • Price sheet management encompassing all invoice prices and any special prices.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate has a background in finance, business planning, sales and/or customer operations working for a technology company. Knowledge of SFDC tools and processes, sales cycle, and pipeline management. Also, key is a very strong business presence, with strong horizontal leadership skills, the ability to communicate optimally with all levels of the organization, and a dedication to meet customer satisfaction and AMD's business objectives.  The candidate should have expert level Excel skills.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's degree preferred (not required)
