About the Role
Temporary Human Resources Business Partner (Maternity Leave Coverage)

As a trusted HRBP, you’ll work closely with HR leadership to implement strategic HR initiatives, drive organizational effectiveness, and champion our vibrant agency culture. You’ll be hands-on, flexible, and innovative in your approach—ensuring that our people thrive as we scale.
What You’ll Do:
People & Culture Leadership
- Partner with leadership to align HR strategy with business goals, ensuring a seamless employee experience.
- Act as a strategic advisor, coach, and confidante to managers and employees across the agency.
- Drive culture-building initiatives, embedding our Monk's values across all touchpoints.
- Support global HR programs around talent development, diversity & inclusion, and employee engagement.
Talent & Performance Management
- Champion career development by leveraging talent frameworks to provide employees with meaningful growth opportunities.
- Guide managers through performance development, equipping them with tools to foster high-performing teams.
- Work with leadership to identify and develop top talent, ensuring we nurture future leaders from within.
Identifying organizational design, development, and/or training needs and working with managers to improve them.
Change & Organizational Development
- Support leadership through periods of change, including mergers, reorganizations, and scaling initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement strategies by leveraging data and insights to enhance workplace culture.
- Implement effective change management strategies that help teams navigate transitions seamlessly.
Advise, interpret, communicate, and participate in the development of HR policies, practices, and processes.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Act as a trusted partner in resolving employee relations issues, mitigating risk, and fostering a positive workplace.
- Conduct fair, thorough, and compliant investigations while managing complex employee relations cases.
- Stay up to date on employment laws and ensure compliance with regulations across our global locations.
- Oversee immigration and mobility cases, ensuring a smooth process for our international talent.
HR Operations & Special Initiatives
- Provide day-to-day HR operational support and serve as a key point of contact for mid-to-senior management.
- Identify and execute process improvements that enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Collaborate with HR leadership on special projects aimed at strengthening organizational effectiveness.
About You
The essentials:
What You Bring:
- 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably within the advertising, media, or creative industries.
- Deep knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
- A strong track record of working in fast-paced, high-growth environments where agility is key.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Strong employee advocacy experience—handling sensitive matters with empathy, diplomacy, and discretion.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects with tight deadlines in a dynamic agency setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite; experience with Workday HRIS is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree; PHR certification is a plus.
