As a part of our Market Index Services team; you will be responsible for the maintenance of the indexes and for identifying improvements to our systems.
· Perform daily administration of Index processes and procedures as governed by the Index methodologies.
· Assist other members of the Corporate Actions Team in evaluating and adjudicating all manner of corporate actions and events
· Conduct quality assurance and monitoring of Index reporting to ensure accurate processing of corporate action events for all Indexes.
· Collaborate with other groups in system and product development projects.
· Assist with basic and complex customer inquiries.
· Draft detailed documentation for new and existing processes and standard operating procedures
· Uncover product and infrastructure improvement opportunities; prepare requirements and cases
Successful applicants will have:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another relevant field
· Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
· Training or experience in financial markets. Knowledge of corporate actions is highly desirable
· Analytic programming experience or evidence of the ability to develop these skills rapidly (e.g. SQL, R, Python, Scala, Java) is a plus
· Organizational skills and the ability to complete multiple, time-sensitive projects
· Excellent Excel skills
Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another relevant field
Experiance Required: 0-3 years
Proficiency in English both written and spoken
