- Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time onsite throughout the duration of the intern term

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Fabric Intern to join our team and support the profiling, pre-Silicon verification, RTL design or microbenchmarking of AMD’s high-end Machine Intelligence products. In this role you will participate in one or more of (but not limited to) the below assignments:
- Collaborate with senior engineers and/or designers to perform profiling, pre-Silicon Verification, RTL design or microbenchmarking of next generation high performance Microprocessor designs and related IPs
- Develop, document and execute on verification testplans at unit level of design hierarchy.
- Develop high level language testbench components including stimulus drivers, behavioral models, monitors and checkers in SystemVerilog.
- Develop, simulate and debug directed/random stimulus to ensure design functionality according to specifications.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- You are currently enrolled in a Romania based University bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
- If you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply:
- Familiarity with programming and scripting languages such as C++ /Python /C /Perl /Shell
- Exposure to Verilog and System Verilog
- Familiarity with UVM is a nice to have
- Exposure to the digital systems and computer architecture
- Familiarity with functional verification tools by VCS, Cadence, Mentor Graphics.
- Familiar with development and debugging in Linux / Unix / Windows environments
- Fundamentals of logic design (FSM, gates, registers, flops, timing, HDL
