We are seeking an Investor Strategy & Research Manager to join Tenstorrent’s Strategic Initiatives Team. This role will be instrumental in profiling investors, tracking engagement, and providing strategic insights to leadership and the Investor Relations (IR) team. This includes leading the company’s efforts in building and maintaining strong relationships with current and potential investors. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong background in strategy, relationship management, and market research. They can work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment and thrive in our growth-oriented culture.
This role is hybrid, based out of Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities:
- Investor Research and Strategic Insights
- Develop reports and presentations to provide leadership with actionable insights on investor preferences, trends, and capital allocation strategies.
- Analyze investor portfolios and strategies to identify alignment with Tenstorrent’s vision, growth stage, and market presence.
- Conduct in-depth research on potential investors globally, including institutional funds, venture capital firms, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices.
- Investor Relationship Management
- Serve as a point of contact for investor inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
- Coordinate and support leadership in investor roadshows, one-on-one meetings, and industry conferences to maximize visibility and engagement.
- Collaborate with the IR team to cultivate and maintain warm relationships with investors through regular updates, meetings, and events.
- Own and manage the investor engagement pipeline, ensuring detailed tracking of all interactions, and timely follow-ups.
- System Development and Process Improvement
- Establish and maintain a robust system for tracking investor profiles, engagement history, and key insights, leveraging CRM tools or custom-built databases.
- Work with cross-functional teams (IR, marketing, finance) to centralize investor data, and align on scalable investor communication processes.
- Market and Competitive Analysis
- Monitor activity in the tech and semiconductor investment space, identifying key players, emerging trends, and competitor strategies.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on market sentiment, competitor performance, and investment opportunities.
- Develop strategies to position Tenstorrent as a top choice for strategic investors based on competitive analysis.
- Investor Communication and Materials
- Lead the creation of high-quality investor materials, including presentations, quarterly updates, and executive briefings.
- Ensure that all communication is aligned with Tenstorrent’s vision, milestones, and value proposition.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
- 4–6 years in investor relations, equity research, corporate finance, or similar roles. Experience in the tech or semiconductor sectors is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience creating and presenting investor materials.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Advanced proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and financial databases (e.g., PitchBook, CapIQ, or similar).
- Proactive, organized, collaborative, and adept at building relationships.
Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
