Main Purpose of the Role
Welocalize is looking for a Japanese interpreter for a simultaneous interpreting assignment for 2 days of simultaneous interpreting in October. The event will be in Singapore, travel costs can be discussed
1st Date: October 9 - Schedule: 9am – 8pm local time. This includes offsite dinner (TBD)
Format: Presentation
Mode: Simultaneous via FM transmitter
Location: Singapore (Exact location will be confirmed privately)
Content types: Cloud Service/Software/Hardware
2nd Date: October 10- Schedule: from 9am – 3pm local time
Format: Tour
Mode: Simultaneous via FM transmitter
Location: Changi Airport
Content types: Cloud Service/Software/Hardware
Employment Type: Freelance/Independent Contract
Task type: Simultaneous onsite interpreting
Tool used: Booth and headsets will be provided
Number of interpreters: 2 per booth
Required Skills
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in the specific mode of service (Simultaneous Interpreting)
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in the requested industry
Should meet one of the following criteria:
- Degree in Interpretation or Translation with a focus on Interpretation OR
- Being a Member of an Interpretation Associations
