As a Junior Workday Analyst, HRIS HCM Support, you will contribute to core internal functions, collaborating with the team to support the maintenance and integrity of our HRIS systems, while leveraging technology to assist with key HR and employee workflows.
In this important role as a Junior Workday HCM Analyst at .Monks, you will be a vital part of our team during a transformative phase as we enhance our Workday infrastructure. This growth will reshape our Workday platform and require support to align with our evolving organizational structure and operational needs.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation, and optimization of HCM modules within Workday by analyzing current processes and contributing to the development of solutions aligned with best practices.
- Serve as a point of contact for Workday-related inquiries, helping to manage ticketing queues, troubleshooting issues, and providing accurate solutions to support users across various levels.
- Support the configuration and management of Workday modules, gaining familiarity with Core HCM, Talent Management, Compensation, Absence, and other related functionalities.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and other departments to understand Workday capabilities, assisting in recommending improvements and opportunities for workflow automation.
- Participate in cross-functional Workday initiatives, helping to address platform challenges and ensuring compliance with updates and system governance requirements.
- Gain knowledge of Workday functionality and work closely with the team to recommend scalable solutions that align with the organization’s needs.
- Aid in conducting training sessions and onboarding for new employees on Workday functionalities, helping them navigate the platform confidently and providing access to ongoing support and training materials.
- Foster collaboration among stakeholders, including business analysts and HRIS specialists, while promoting effective knowledge sharing.
- Maintain communication with stakeholders, providing updates on projects and assisting in identifying risks and resolving issues.
- Contribute to the integration, testing, and deployment of Workday solutions, supporting change management processes to ensure smooth transitions.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base for Workday, ensuring documentation is accessible and identifying opportunities for improvement and training.
You’ll need to have:
- 2+ years of experience with a focus on Workday configuration.
- A foundational understanding of Workday HCM and familiarity with core HCM functionalities, as well as interest in global HR processes and systems.
- Some experience supporting Workday projects or related roles focused on operational improvements and automation solutions.
- Basic knowledge of HCM module configurations.
- Strong analytical skills and effective problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail for managing data needs.
- Good interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills to build relationships and credibility across the organization.
- Willingness to learn and assist in training colleagues on Workday functionalities to improve their proficiency with the platform.
- Solid organizational skills to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.
