Get to know the team

The Dispatch team at Grab is responsible for building and managing the core platform that determines how millions of daily incoming orders across Grab (Transport, Food, Deliveries) can be effectively dispatched to available driver supply. The work you do will directly impact and improve both the speed of order deliveries for our customers and the earning potential that driver-partners rely on Grab to provide.

Get to know the Role

As a Lead Product Manager within the Dispatch team, you will own the product strategy for order dispatch and work closely with Engineers, Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business Owners to execute effectively. You will define clear roadmaps to build and scale Dispatch platform capabilities across Mobility and Deliveries, ultimately providing a superior and efficient user experience. You'll also collaborate closely with Grab's Vertical product teams and country stakeholders to refine value propositions, drive go-to-market execution, and continually improve product quality. This role offers significant growth opportunities, including tackling large-scale technical issues and positively impacting millions of users.

The Critical Tasks You will Perform

1. You will own and define the product strategy for the problem space and work closely with a team of Engineers, Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business Owners to execute on that strategy.
2. You will define a clear outlook and roadmap for building platform dispatching capabilities across Grab's services, ensuring the delivery of exceptional and highly efficient user experiences.
3. You will define and drive a strategy for automation of dispatching capabilities across Grab's services.
4. You will collaborate closely with Grab's Mobility and Delivery product teams and country stakeholders to refine service value propositions, drive go-to-market execution, and enhance product quality for our users.
5. You will explore and extend the reach of predictive and real-time signals to power new and existing dispatching use cases.
6. You will influence decision-making by understanding and balancing stakeholder perspectives and needs across various seniorities, helping build minimum-lovable products while making strong data-informed decisions.
7. You will generate product ideas, conduct discovery to identify opportunities, and consistently measure the impact of your work.

Qualifications

What Skills You will Need

1. Product Management Experience: At least 5 years of direct experience in product management at a tech company, preferably with designing and managing platform products.
2. Customer-Centricity: Demonstrated ability to maintain a customer-first mindset throughout all stages of product development.
3. Technical Acumen: Comfortable engaging in technical discussions and clearly explaining technical and business concepts to varied audiences.
4. Data Analytics: Proficiency in using data to guide decision-making processes and critical thinking.
5. Stakeholder Management: Experience working with diverse stakeholders and understanding their perspectives and constraints.
6. Product Lifecycle: Strong experience in all stages of the product lifecycle, from ideation to execution and analysis.
